Wizzy & Tara

Welcome to the UK home of Picualia

We fell in love with this incredible oil at first taste in Andalusia. It was, quite simply, the freshest extra virgin olive oil we’d ever experienced.

The incredible aroma, the pure taste, the vivid emerald colour. Worlds apart from most olive oils available in the UK. We just had to bring it over, so we secured the rights to do so.

Now, for the first time, British consumers can enjoy the quality Spain takes for granted.

From our table to yours,

PURITY

Fresh, sublime with a silky-smooth aromatic spiciness. With unparalleled freshness Picualia’s 100% pure picual oils are never mixed or blended, and no additives or preservatives are used. Full traceability guaranteed.
FRESH

THE FRESHEST, HEALTHIEST OIL

Olives
Picualia olives are harvested solely by mechanical means then cold pressed at a precise temperature. The resulting oil is stored in an inert atmosphere, protecting the oil’s precious flavours, aromas and naturally occurring health-benefiting antioxidants. Evooleum reports that Picualia has three times the level of antioxidants expected in a top quality extra virgin olive oil.

Olive Grove

“Bright green, full bodied, with a faint peppery flavour, we chose Picualia for our finishing and dipping extra virgin olive oil here at Mare Street Market.”

Their vision was to not only produce one of the finest quality extra virgin olive oils in the world, but to create a sustainable business to support the whole community

VALUES

Those age-old values of quality and sustainability still drive Picualia today.
THE FUTURE

A NEW GENERATION OF PRODUCERS

The Mill
Picualia’s award-winning mill is eco-friendly and fully sustainable. And one of a kind in Spain. Olive stones heat not only the mill, but the homes of the local community, through biomass systems.

Today, more than 950 farmers are part of the Picualia family. The mill processes up to 30 million kilos of olives and produces around 5 million kilos of oil each year.

Each year a percentage of the sales from Picualia’s unique limited edition ‘First Day of Harvest’ go to support a local charity, working to preserve the ecology and culture of the region.
